Former nWo Member Calls Vince McMahon "Satan"

It's not hard to find a disgruntled employee of WWE. With so few wrestlers that truly "make it" there's a large pot full of guys and gals who didn't get the opportunities, they wanted when working for the New York wrestling conglomerate.

Buff Bagwell may well fall under the latter category. While Buff had a long and fruitful run in WCW, his time in WWE lasted only a week in the summer of 2001.

The former nWo member recently sat down with Cult of Whatever to discuss his life in the wrestling business. But his most impactful quote came when was asked how he would describe Vince McMahon as a boss:

"Satan"

No room for misinterpretation there. A story from Bagwell's short time in WWE would shine a little more light on where his negative opinion is rooted:

"What people don't realize is that they put Booker T and myself on as the main event of Monday Night Raw for the WCW World Title in Seattle, Washington with all of the odds against us."

"A week later WWE were going to be in Atlanta, Georgia, why could they have not waited seven days and put Booker T v Buff Bagwell for the WCW World Championship on in Atlanta which was the home of WCW instead of seven days earlier in Seattle where we got booed out of the building."

Being only days away from wrestling on WCW's hallowed ground make this situation worth a lift of the eyebrow. We can't blame Bagwell for at least being suspicious:

"My honest opinion is that it was set up for us to fail, it didn't work and we knew we shouldn't have been in the main event, we knew there was something wrong about it but you don't ask questions in this business you just go and do what you're told."

While Bagwell may have a point, there's just a lot of speculation here. For WWE to release him just days after this match, there must be more to the story. One thing we do know is that Bagwell unconditionally prefers his old boss, Eric Bischoff to Vince McMahon.

"I thought he (Bischoff) was the best, he was the best to me, I've heard other people say different things about him but in my opinion, he was the best."

Hey, there's some positivity! Not everyone is WWE material, but Buff has gone on to have a successful career in wrestling. He still competes for Independent Promotions.
