The Miz is still the WWE Intercontinental Champion! Tnumbers game caught up to Dean Ambrose tonight at Great Balls of Fire as Maryse, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel all joined in the action to distract Dean Ambrose long enough for The Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale and pick up the three count on the Lunatic Fringe.

With the decisive victory, we have to wonder if the neverending feud between The Miz and Dean Ambrose finally come to an end. The two have been at each other's throats since last December, when Miz called out Renee Young for sleeping with Dean. Ambrose would then defeat Miz for the championship on a January episode of SmackDown.

Miz took a brief break during WrestleMania season to get involved with John Cena and Nikki Bella, but the Superstar Shake-Up immediately put Miz and The Lunatic Fringe back together on Raw. The Miz reclaimed his championship at Extreme Rules and since then we've seen bears, grandfather clocks, LaVar Ball, and the cast of The Marine 5 thrown into the soup to keep it edible.

Despite The Miztourage just being an upgraded version of the Social Outcasts, it's great to see a heel faction on Raw again. The Raw babyfaces need the odds stacked against them, even if it's just a few guys with a win-loss record that resembles the Brooklyn Brawler.

Will the loss force Dean Ambrose to shift his attentions elsewhere? In a March interview with Sportskeedia, Ambrose was asked about the notion of ever entertaining a heel turn.

"I go out there and just try to be myself. Whatever mood I'm in is kind of the version of me you're going to get that day. I go out and do me and what I feel like and I don't really think too much about it. There's a lot I still want to do in my career and there's going to be a whole other chapter in the future."

Hopefully, the loss means Dean's next chapter is right around the corner.
