Braun Strowman's Destruction Forces Draw in Reigns vs. Samoa Joe

Tonight's big winner was Braun Strowman. The only problem being that he actually did not have a match. Strowman offset our path to Summerslam, forcing us to wait another week before we find out who will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship.

In RAW's main event, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns fought to a draw. Kind of. As the match reached its closing moments, Braun Stowman's music hit. The Monster Among Men went right to work and begun dismantling Roman Reigns. Still hungry, Strowman targeted Samoa Joe for some physicality. When the bodies were motionless, Strowman trudged out of the ring, proud of his work.

RAW closed with Samoa Joe and Reigns sprawled out in the middle of the ring. Strowman had plenty of incentive to come in a cause a little chaos. It was less than two weeks ago that he was nearly killed by Roman Reigns.

For those that missed it, at Great Balls of Fire, Reigns did his best to rid the WWE of Strowman permanently. The Big Dog locked Strowman into the back of an ambulance and sent the vehicle into reverse, plunging it into a concrete wall. Needless to say, it was pretty dramatic.

Next week, Strowman is going to find out that both Reigns and Samoa Joe are awfully upset with his actions from tonight. If you can't smell it, I'll lay it out for you: At SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, and Roman Reigns. That's right fans, a Fatal 4 Way.

That would make for quite the old school showcase of monsters that made WWE what it is today. There may not be enough canvass in the ring to support a match between those four behemoths. With this looking to be the case, it does take a bit of the drama out of next week's big RAW match, but it will be worth it — because if this turns out to be the case for SummerSlam, there is no clear favorite. And when we have to resort to guessing, that's when wrestling is at its finest.
