WWE Steps In To Help After Justin Credible Posts Troubling Video

WWE is once again stepping in to help out one of their former stars. Former ECW/WWE star Justin Credible (PJ Polaco) posted a troubling video this week saying he was in danger of going to jail and was suffering from alcohol addiction. Only one day later, Polaco posted an update saying that he was heading to rehab thanks to the WWE.

In the video above, Polaco revealed that he was at the airport in Connecticut to travel to Tampa to get help. Credible said he is a recovering addict, but was attending WWE sponsored rehab thanks to the help of Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, along with Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Hall and Jake Roberts.

Another former star who is helping out Polaco is his former tag team partner, X Pac (Sean Waltman). Waltman joined the "The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro" to give the latest information on Polaco, saying he had reached out to Polaco after seeing his tweets.

"We got him [Justin Credible] in a hotel at least, and somebody's gonna pick him up and bring him to rehab…I just saw these crazy posts on Twitter and I'm just like, 'hey, call me. I love you and I'll answer it.'…I'm happy to do it, Rox. I'm happy to, like, that's a real touch and go time when somebody's in a situation like that…He's in a situation where he feels like nobody's really wanting to help, and nobody gives a fuck, and I'm trying to explain to him why that might be …you know, when somebody's all fucked up like that. And they're at the moment fucked up, you know, they're hating themselves. And some of the stuff, some of the things he talked to me about…I would never share with anyone. It was pretty heavy shit…I just wanted to get him on the phone, and talk to him…have a connection, even though it's over the phone, just to have that connection at the moment with somebody, is huge."

X Pac has gone through his own share of issues with addiction in the past. The former DX and NWO star was recently arrested for possession at an airport. Thankfully, Pac was cleared on all charges and appears to still be doing great with his sobriety.

WWE has been helping their former talent get help since a program that began in 2007. WWE.com posted a statement on their site which references their initiatives.

"WWE distributed its first rehabilitation assistance offer to all former WWE contracted talent. The goal of the initiative is designed to help any former talent that may have a substance-related dependency problem. The WWE distributes an annual letter to all former talent notifying them of the program and relevant details. In November 2014, 707 former talent letters were sent out. The WWE has a confidential hotline for former talent to call and seek admittance to a certified treatment center, with all expenses covered by WWE. In addition, the WWE maintains regular contact with talent who have entered a rehab program or reached out for WWE assistance."
