Enzo And Cass To Face Off At Great Balls Of Fire

Enzo will take on Big Cass this Sunday at WWE Great Balls of Fire.

The hottest angle on Raw continued tonight in the opening segment when Enzo opened Raw by giving his response to Big Cass' brutal betrayal. Enzo claimed that Big Cass never had his back and that the boot to his face gave him CPR and a new lease on life in the WWE. The Certified G went on to say that he had been knocked out time and time again but he continued to get up. Zo said there was nothing Big Cass could do to him that hasn't been done before and then claimed that Cass was nothing more than a "7 foot catchphrase ... that I wrote!"

Enzo would go on for nearly ten minutes, revealing a New Life tattoo (written in pen ... we think) on his stomach and a more serious fire than we've seen in most of his promos.

Backstage, Cass reiterated that he was 'where the money was at' in an interview until he was attacked by Enzo. The two would go onto brawl for several moments before being broken up by WWE officials.

Thanks to some bang-up investigative journalism by Corey Graves, all reasonable doubt that Cass was innocent evaporated several weeks ago. Using backstage footage, Graves proved that Big Cass staged his own attack in hopes of throwing the investigative dogs off the scent. It worked for a week as Cass suggested it was Big Show who attacked him. But the video cinched it.

With nothing left to hide and the conclusion on the tip of everyone's tongue, Big Cass took the mic and admitted to his deed.

Cass claimed he was sick and tired of Enzo. Citing Enzo's loud mouth and reckless behavior, Big Cass scorned his partner in crime. Enzo had little to say, and Cass continued to verbally assault his friend.

The two appeared to mend fences last week until Big Cass unleashed an even more brutal attack on Enzo which resulted in the Certified G getting tossed the entire way down the entrance ramp.
