Big Cass Crushes Enzo Amore At Great Balls Of Fire

As many expected, Big Cass showed the WWE universe 'where the money was at' during his Great Balls of Fire match with former partner, Enzo Amore.

Before the match ever began, Enzo cut another passionate (albeit a rambling) promo which compared his life to a Frank Sinatra song and thanke the fans for making his real life better than his dreams.

Then, for the first time in the WWE, Big Cass entered to his own theme music and began having his way with his former partner, hammering away and tossing Zo across the ring with ease.

After Enzo drug himself back into the ring, just slightly avoiding a ten count, Big Cass nailed him with the big boot to easily pick up the three count.

We arrived at this Great Balls of Fire grudge match after Big Cass was ousted as Enzo Amore's hit and run attacker. For several weeks, WWE cameras would find Enzo laid out, practically unconscious. Then, Big Cass himself was found laid out backstage. WWE presented possible culprits like The Arrival and Big Show, but in the end, they were proven to be innocent. Thanks to Corey Graves' investigative journalism, a video of Big Cass staging his own attack left no doubt who the real attacker was.

As RAW came to a close, Cass berated Enzo with the latter actually dropping a tear. Class punctuated his turn with a big boot and the deed was done. The two appeared to mend fences a week later until Big Cass unleashed an even more brutal attack on Enzo which resulted in the Certified G getting tossed the entire way down the entrance ramp.

After getting his feelings and friendship thwarted, Enzo brought the fire a week later, taking the fight to the "7 foot catchphrase".

While the match wasn't a wrestling classic by any means, fans were completely invested in the David vs Goliath storyline and Cass was able to generate a ton of heat in his first match as a heel.
