Former RAW Women's Champion joined Stone Cold Steve Austin on a recent episode of his podcast, the Steve Austin Show. Bayley has hit a rough patch in WWE as of late and she spent most of the interview being transparent about her struggles. However, she seems intent turning things around.

For most of us, if we were performing poorly at our jobs, we may want to avoid our bosses. But Bayley has taken the initiative and has seemingly developed a good relationship with Vince McMahon:

Up Next: It's Time for Bayley to Go Back to NXT

"I feel comfortable talking to Vince, which seems so crazy for me to say. For me, I've been a fan, I've been watching him forever, and I'm like, 'yeah, I'm comfortable to talk to Vince McMahon.' Yeah, but if it was something I felt really strongly about, like I had the perfect idea, and I have the direction I want. I want ideas. I want kind of… I'm not going to go in there and be like, 'hey, I feel weird - maybe I should change a little bit.' I want to have exactly the idea of what I want to present to him and I'd probably just go to Vince because that's the only way to go, if it's something like that. I've talked to him a few times to where I'm like, 'now, I feel fine.' Like he's still intimidating as hell when he walks by and you want to make sure you're on your best behavior, but I feel comfortable enough."

It's well documented how intimidating Vince McMahon's presence can be, nearly all wrestlers can vividly remember the first time they meet the WWE boss. However as notorious as his aura has become, he's equally revered as an understanding, supportive, near father figure for many of his employees.

More: Is WWE Planning an On-Screen Romance for Bayley?

For Bayley, these have been trying times. Upon her WWE debut, the live audience nearly exploded. She rode this wave of momentum to a turn with the RAW Women's Championship but, that's where the smiles come to an end. When she entered a program with Alexa Bliss, nearly all of her weaknesses were exposed. Blis imply outclassed her on several talking segments where Bayley looked too close to an amateur. It would only get worse as Bayley would lose in an egregiously uncompetitive contest to Bliss at Extreme Rules.

However, the rehabilitation has begun. WWE is making sure to feature her with friend Sasha Banks on RAW. This will help Bayley slide back into good graces of fans and hopefully instill some much-needed confidence. Bayley seems committed to getting out of this funk, let's hope she's back on top sooner than later.
