We can add one more match to the now bulging Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view. The Miz will defend his Intercontinental Championship against the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose.

Let's hope Miz's wrestling tights hold up better on Sunday than his pants did tonight otherwise, we'll all be screaming Great Balls of Fire.

Anyways, to tonight.

Dressed like Colonel Sanders, The Miz opened his segment running down Dean Ambrose, saying that Dean has been a disappointment since the Shield split. Miz continued by saying instead of becoming this generation's Roddy Piper, Ambrose has turned into a whacky character that we shouldn't take seriously. Some fans would agree wholeheartedly with the Miz's assertions, but that's an entirely different story.

Ambrose's music would interrupt The Miz, and the Lunatic Fringe got right to business as he said he's due a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. Before that got scheduled, Heath Slate and Rhyno joined the party.

Slater made a compelling argument as to why he should get a title shot, citing 8 years of working in WWE with little opportunity.

Right on cue, Kurt Angle's music hit. The RAW GM gave Ambrose his title shot for Great Balls of Fire, but he would face the winner of tonight's Intercontinental Match, Miz vs. Heath Slater. Everyone wins with Kurt Angle!

The Miz and Slater would go on to have a pretty nice match that ended with the Miz hitting his skull crushing finale. Naturally, the Miz took advantage of the Miztourage and their distractive nature. Ambrose would come down to crack a little skull, but it was the Miz who got the winners pose - kissing his beautiful and notably happy, wife, Marsye.

For Miz and Ambrose, the two have a long history of fighting over the prestigious belt and this Sunday may be the final chapter. Here's to a great match!
