Roman Reigns Gives Braun Strowman One Last Ride Before Great Balls PPV

To hold our appetites until Great Balls of Fire, WWE made sure to give us one last brawl between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

When Strowman finished tossing the remains of Apollo Crews into the back of an ambulance, he gave the emergency vehicle the signal to head to the hospital (or morgue in Crews' case). Except the EMT's were off duty tonight. Instead, Roman Reigns was manning the vehicle, and when Strowman peered into the ambulance like something from Jurassic Park, Reigns attacked.

The scuffle took out some led screens before Reigns speared Strowman off of the ramp and into some strategically placed trash. The show closed with both men shaking off the beating they had respectively taken.

All of this started after Strowman's final tune-up before Great Balls of Fire. Titus World Wide got it brightest stage yet. Unfortunately for Titus O'Neil and his protege Apollo Crews, it had to share it with Braun Strowman.

As expected, Strowman dismantled Crews in a match that was more competitive that we could have foreseen. The turning point came when Crews attempted his standing back flip but Strowman caught him mid-air and leg pressed him across the ring. It was curtains from there as Strowman would go on to punish Crews and his caretaker.

Reigns and Strowman do a great job of beating the hell out of one another. Although an Ambulance Match may induce an eye roll, these two may just have the right brutal chemistry to make this one special. And why wouldn't they? These two have been feuding for the majority of 2017 and it looks like they are about to go their separate ways after Sunday. For now.

It's hard to imagine Reigns not getting the better of Strowman in their blow-off contest. Rumors have him challenging Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship. In light of that, WWE will likely want to keep him hot. Expect all paths to be cleared for the WrestleMania 31 rematch.
