Despite just missing out on a number one contendership for the RAW Women's title, Nia Jax has had the best week of her career. During Raw's Gauntlet Match, Jax looked like the dominant force the Women's Revolution has been missing as she easily disposed of most of RAW's roster.

Her performance was so good that it's summoned high praise from wrestling greats. On his podcast, E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, Edge sang the praises of the up and coming women's star.

"Nia Jax on RAW, I'm a big fan of her's. I think she's what they could base the entire Women's Division around and just have her as this unbeatable, conquering machine."

For those that missed it, Nia had a bit of a cornerstone moment this Monday. Since her debut, she's only been losing momentum. But Jax would slowly slip out of relevance as RAW would place more emphasis on the Women's Title scene and any peripheral programs become obsolete. However, it looks like Jax has surged back to the top of RAW and rumors have her pegged to be challenging for the RAW Women's Title at SummerSlam.

WWE has begun to implement more physically into their women's division. A Hell in a Cell Match, a Kendo Stick battle and 2 Women's Ladder Matches have all contributed to a new, more violent vibe for women's wrestling. Nia Jax brutalizing her opponents seems to fit nicely into this new philosophy.

For now, Jax will have to wait her turn at the top of the card is filled by Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks. However, all signs point to her being next in line. Stay tuned, folks.
