Curtis Axel Rips LaVar Ball Segment On RAW

Not everyone was entertained by LaVar Ball's 'so bad it's good' segment on Miz TV. WWE star, Curtis Axel, who joined The Miz after the bit came crashing to an end, joined Minneapolis' 93X Half-Assed Morning Show this morning to rip the Ball family's performance.

"They don't need to be on TV. Get them off. It was embarrassing. Looking at that from my perspective, it was funny backstage looking at it, but that's not something that... you know, this is my opinion. The kids watch this show. It's a kid's program, we took it down to PG-13 and made everything kid-friendly, right? And for someone to come on there and grab the microphone and go off and do something outlandish like this and you were told... I guarantee they were told not to do it - it's embarrassing.

And yeah, I watching it backstage and I was embarrassed. Growing up in the family business like this and seeing some guy... the whole family to me. Granted, you know the kid's gonna be a superstar or whatever but the dad and the other guy, they do this on a program where my family's busted their ass - it embarrasses me and it pisses me off. It sucks."

The incident Axel was referring to is when WWE decided to give all of the Balls live microphones. When it looked like LaVar and The Miz might get physical the segment reached its peak. Dean Ambrose came out and the excitement was too much for young LaMelo.

At first, it sounded like harmless squawking but the watchdog that is social media armed with the power of DVR found out that the 15 year old Ball repeatedly said, "Beat that n***** ass! Beat that n***** ass!"

WWE released a statement on the use of the N word, saying "The inappropriate language used by a guest during the 'Miz TV' segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE's values."

On Monday night's Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about Vince McMahon's reaction to the incident. He said that after it aired, "backstage there were very, very unhappy people".

In another post on F4WOnline.com, Meltzer said that it was "chaos" backstage after the comments aired. He also said that specifically, Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn were the ones that were very unhappy with what happened.

Safe to say we won't be seeing the Big Baller Brand on WWE TV anytime soon.
