NXT Champion, Bobby Roode recently joined former WWE greats, Edge and Christian on their podcast, E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. Roode covered how well he's been treated since joining WWE along with the biggest lesson the business has taught him. For that, check out more of the interview here.

When asked about his potential dream matches Roode aimed for the best WWE offers:

"I think if I'm looking at it right now, a John Cena is always first and foremost. I think John [has] been the guy for over a decade there now and I think just to wrestle Cena at WrestleMania would be pretty amazing. But there [are] a lot of guys there that I would love to do some stuff with. I mean, obviously, Roman. Roman's a huge star. And I think Seth Rollins, and Seth kind of took a similar path that I did. He did a lot of indies and stuff and then got his break in NXT, and he got called up, and there he is now. Get into the ring with him, there's obviously Bray Wyatt. There's just so much talent there. That's kind of uncharted waters. Half the roster, I've never even been in the ring with, so sky's the limit."

Roode's answer is not a unique one. Many former and current wrestlers often single out Cena and Reigns when asking about dream opponents. The same goes for Bray Wyatt, who has been handpicked by former WWE stars like Bautista and Jake the Snake Roberts as one match they'd love to have.

The NXT Champion's glorious main roster debut is probably months if not a year away from happening. WWE's roster is jam-packed with veteran Indy wrestling guys who are just now becoming a priority to WWE's booking. Roode looks the be only the first act of his NXT reign as the young promotion needs a strong star at the top.

Sooner than later, Roode will be main roster bound. In the meantime, go ahead and memorize the lyrics to his intoxicating theme music so we can sing along when he makes his first glorious WWE appearance.
