If you ask Psych fans around the world about their favorite moments from the show, many will point to the humorous scenes that the series became known for.

However, this isn't the case for star Corbin Bernsen.

One of only four cast members credited with appearing in all 120 episodes of Psych, Bernsen had plenty of incredible moments to reflect on. During San Deigo Comic-Con, we asked the actor which of them was his favorite to experience.

Bernsen then threw a curveball, bringing up one of the most somber stories from Psych's original run.

"I did like, even though it wasn't totally Psych-ish, when Henry got shot." Bernsen continued, "I've always enjoyed those moments. Henry doesn't really have the rumor. Henry's kind of the Ringo in the band, he's the drummer keeping the beat."

You may think that Bernsen is a bit crazy for this answer, enjoying one of the saddest scenes the most, but he had a good reason for his answer.

"To bring Shawn back into this place where he's concerned about his dad, whether he's going to live or die, that was good for me. I always enjoyed those moments because I felt there was something I was doing that truly affect story and character."

If you're hoping to have more of the Spencer men in your life, 2017 is a great year to be alive. Psych: The Movie is set to air on USA this December.
