The upcoming 19th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is coming back with a bang. A sneak peek at the script page for the premiere episode has been released and teases a massive international incident.

In the premiere, which is titled "Gone Fishin'," Ice-T's character Fin is crossing international borders in pursuit of a fugitive rapist. The criminal, who will be portrayed by Nashville's Will Chase, fled to Cuba six years prior but was caught by Olivia Benson's second-in-command in the season premiere.

"Fin sets the season going," new showrunner Michael Chernuchin said while speaking with EW. "We see something about Fin where he's willing to break the law, or at least thinking he's breaking the law to do the right thing.

"Basically, Fin tells everybody he's going on vacation, but what he's really doing is he goes to Havana to track down a fugitive and he catches him in Havana. That basically sets off a whole international incident. We start big, and that's what we wanted to do. It's a big episode, the first one," Chernuchin added.

The next season of SVU will feature the return of Peter Jacobson as well as Amy Smart making a guest starring spot as one of Byron's alleged victims. Another Hollywood superstar set to appear on the next season is Brooke Shields.

Shields recently spoke out about what fans can expect to see from her character.

"I play a very different character from any I have ever played," the 52-year-old actress said in a statement. "I'm excited to stir the SVU pot a bit."

Law & Order: SVU returns for its nineteenth season on Sept. 27.
