12/08/2020 09:44 pm EST
Fans will have a long time to think about the "WAP" reference on SVU before another episode airs. The show is going on a winter hiatus and will not be back with a new episode until Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. When it does, the fan-favorite character Rafael Barba, played by Raul Esparza, will make a guest appearance. Barba served as Assistant District Attorney but left in Season 19. In the upcoming episode, he is serving as a defense attorney who goes toe-to-toe with Carisi (Peter Scanavino) in the courtroom.
