'Game of Thrones' Releases First Photos From 'Beyond the Wall'

Jon Snow has lead his band of warriors north of the wall, and Game of Thrones has finally given fans the first look at the expedition.

On Wednesday, HBO released the first official photos from "Beyond The Wall," the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones' sixth season.

The previous episode ended with Jon, Tormund, Gendry, Jorah, Thoros, Beric, and The Hound leaving Eastwatch and heading out into the wilderness that lies north of the wall. Many are expecting more of the next episode to follow that group on their journey, and these new photos suggest the same thing.

Most of the photos in this collection focus on Jon's team but don't spoil any of the dangers that await them at their destination.

The other images released focus on two main storylines - the relationship between Dany and Tyrion, and the struggle between the Stark Sisters.

Daenerys is starting to get bothered by Tyrion, as it seems that he's not acting in her best interest. Tyrion however, feels exactly the opposite. The man is trying to keep Dany from turning into her wretched father.

In Winterfell, Littlefinger has turned Arya and Sansa Stark against one another. One photo here sees Sansa following her sister, while the other shows Brienne getting involved.

"Beyond the Wall" will air on HBO this Sunday, August 20 at 9 p.m.
