WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones Season 7. Continue reading at your own risk...

Game of Thrones has seen some great character returns in its penultimate season, but the biggest callback could be coming up this week.

There's a chance that Gendry, the bastard son of Robert Baratheon, could be returning to Game of Thrones in this Sunday's episode, "Eastwatch."

If you recall, Gendry rowed off into the sunset four seasons ago and he hasn't been heard from since. Many thought that he might have been completely written off of the show.

Fans were thrown for a loop when Gendry himself, actor Joe Dempsie, was present on the red carpet for the Season 7 premiere. The appearance had some wondering if the character could be showing up this year.

Earlier this week, Dempsie's name appeared on the IMDb page for the upcoming episode. Now, IMDb isn't completely reliable, as anyone can get on the site and add information, but this is still worth looking into a little deeper.

After already appearing on the page, Dempsie's name was recently removed from the "Eastwatch" listing.

In all honesty, that makes it seem like the show is trying to hide a spoiler. Listings on IMDb are incorrect all the time, why just go fix this one?

If Gendry is going to return to Westeros before Game of Thrones ends, it probably needs to be soon. There would be no point in leaving a story like that in limbo for four seasons, then coming back to it with no pay-off.

When 'Eastwatch' airs on HBO this Sunday night, be on the lookout for the face of a familiar blacksmith — chances are he'll be there.
