'Game of Thrones' Star Teases a Relationship Between Tormund and Brienne

For those Game of Thrones fans shipping Brienne of Tarth and Tormund Giantsbane, you might actually get your wish this season.

Ever since their first on-screen meeting, there has been a ton of tension brewing between the two fan-favorite characters, and many have hoped it would lead to a relationship at some point. Tormund was clearly infatuated with Brienne, while she seemed much more reluctant.

Now, a couple episodes into Season 7, it looks like Brienne may be warming up to Tormund's efforts.

During the Game of Thrones panel at San Diego Comic-Con last week, host Kristian Nairn (Hodor) asked Gwendoline Christie whether or not Brienne was enjoying Tormund's advances. Christie replied by saying that her character enjoys the power dynamic that it brings.

Later in the panel, Christie opened up about the relationship even more.

The floor was opened up for a fan Q&A period. One fan approached the mic and addressed Christie, asking if Brienne what Tormund would have to do to "Get in her chainmail."

After laughing at the phrase, Christie hinted that there could be a future for the characters. She said that the two "had a mutual respect."

Hopefully, as the rest of the season unfolds, we'll get to see some more interaction between the two warriors.

Fingers crossed both characters will get a little more time in 'The Queen's Justice' when it airs on HBO this Sunday night.
