'Teen Mom 2' Star Kailyn Lowry Seeks Legal Protection From Father of Her Child

The latest episode of Teen Mom 2 included some legal drama with Kailyn Lowry taking her ex-husband Javi Marroquin to court.

Lowry, 25, and Marroquin, 24, signed a consensual order of protection that limits communications between the two. They will each only be able to use text or other written communication when coordinating plans for their son Lincoln, 3.

After the hearing, Marroquin told cameras, "A real piece of s--- is what she is."

"He can't contact me, he can't show up at my house, my school or work when I get a job," Lowry said about the agreement. "The only time he can text me is about Lincoln."

The order was requested after Marroquin threatened to come to Lowry's home when he found out she was pregnant with her third child.

Lowry had previously expressed her hesitancy for letting her ex know about the third pregnancy. She said he was "not stable" enough to handle the news.

"I have not told Javi yet, because I'm afraid he will try to sell [the story]," she said in a previous episode. "I just don't know when the right time is because he is not stable right now."

The estranged couple have had a rocky past, and their turbulent relationship has been a focus on the MTV reality show for a while.

MTV's Teen Mom 2 airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. CT.
