'Bachelor' Creator Teases the Next 'Bachelor' and It Isn't Who You Think

Mike Fleiss, the creator of ABC's hit reality series The Bachelor, is speaking out about who might be the next star on the show. According to his latest tweets, it likely will not be fan favorite alum, Peter Kraus.

On Thursday, Fleiss took what appears to be a swipe at Kraus, 31. After he was the runner-up on the latest season of The Bachelorette, fans have been hoping that Kraus would be the new star of the next season of The Bachelor.

Fleiss tweeted, "Do we really want a Bachelor who isn't ready to settle down with a woman he loves? Hmmm. Not what [The Bachelor] is all about..."

Kraus was sent home by Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay because he was not ready to propose in the season finale.

After Fleiss shared the tweet, Bachelor nation voiced their reactions. Many had seriously strong opinions regarding the matter.

Some fans rushed to Kraus' defense.

"If this is a dig at Peter...I don't see how it's wrong of him to want a monogamous relationship with a woman before proposing," one Twitter user wrote.

While there was a slew of fans that took Kraus' side on the issue, one person that would likely stand with Fleiss is Rachel. After the Final Rose special earlier this month, Rachel spoke out about Kraus.

"I felt a little bit of manipulation there," Rachel, 32, said while speaking with Entertainment Tonight. "The lack of commitment, you telling me that you want this future with me, but you didn't want to take the actions to have it... like, that's what triggered those emotions in me."

She continued by saying, "I felt like there was a lot of push and pull. I feel like he was giving me just enough to keep me and string me along, rather than being forthcoming with everything. And the thing is, when I walked in [the night of the breakup], I knew what I was going to do, and I still kept getting that push and that pull. So, it was hard."
