Nicki Minaj can’t stop snapping selfies, even when she’s on a video shoot. All of the Grammy-nominated musician’s fans on social media know that she regularly shares photos of herself on the Internet, but her latest music video takes things to an entirely different level.

The 34-year-old rapper and her other collaborators including Major Lazer and PartyNextDoor hilariously poked fun at pop culture by taking photos of themselves throughout the new music video for their fiery hot track “Run Up.”

Minaj put her body on full display for the new footage and showed off her sexy dance moves while rocking one of her raciest looks in recent weeks.

The new music video shows rapperย PartynextDoorย arriving at a crowded party where every guest was staring at their cell phone. The partygoers were shown dancing, drinking, and even lockings lips all the while recording the festivities on their cell phones.

Nickiย Minaj then joins the party via FaceTimeย from a massive mansion on the other side of Losย Angeles. When she calls into the party, the curvy musician snaps a series of sexy selfies of her own.

Nickiย sported a denim bodysuit that flawlessly hugged her busty build. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail and whipped across her back. Minaj accessorized her appearance with a massive diamond “Barbie” chain.

She filmed herself doing and twerkingย while dropping her verse into the phone. Some of her most fiery lines made reference to Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

During an interview at the 2017 Fashion Los Angelesย Awards earlier this month, Minajย dished on how it “takes guts” to maintain her risquรฉ appearance.

“We win and fail in the public eye. We all have insecurities,” she said. “I want to say, shout-out to all of the kick-ass women, not only in this room, but all around the world. People think they know what it requires. People think they can do it. Everybody wants to walk in your shoes, until you put them in your shoes.”

Nickiย continued by saying: “It takes guts, it takes balls to fail and to make mistakes in the public eye, and to read sh**** comments about yourself ever f***ing day and to still have a beautiful f***ingย smile on your f***ingย face.”

While Nickiย may receive scathing comments on social media, it’s fair to say that her new video with Major Lazerย will also garner a massive amount of compliments from her adoring fans.

The directors of the project,ย Luc and Paul Martin, spoke out about their vision for the video set to the Major Lazerย andย Nicki Minaj track.

“The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we beat to our smartphones,” they said. “Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”
