Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley are two young actors who have quickly become big stars, thanks to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, respectively. Now the two UK actors will be combining their star power, for the upcoming sci-fi film, Chaos Walking.

Variety reports that Lionsgate will be releasing the sci-fi/adventure film on March 1, 2019, with Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman helming the film. The movie is based on a 2008 book by Patrick Ness, titled Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go. Ness will be helping with the screenplay adaptation, along with Being John Malkovich writer Charlie Kaufman, and The Blind Side writer John Lee Hancock.

Chaos Walking explores a dystopian future where all living creatures are psychically attuned to one another. In the setting, the only young boy (presumably Holland) living in a town of men decides to flee that civilization with his pet dog, after making a dark discovery. With the townspeople chasing him down, the boy happens upon a silent young girl (presumably Ridley) and that encounter begins a life-changing journey for the boy — while trying to survive on the run.

Chaos Walking is (as stated) currently slated to be released on March 1, 2019, where it will compete with Fox's police thriller The Force and Universal's How to Train Your Dragon 3.
