Kim Kardashian Slammed for Jackie Kennedy Photo Shoot

Kim Kardashian West posed with her daughter North West for a photo shoot inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis earlier this week, but now she's facing a ton of backlash online.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast member and her daughter recreated several photos taken of the late former First Lady, and people are not pleased with the comparison.

They cite everything from Kardashian's attitude to her sex tape as reasons she shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Kennedy.

"Disgusted. Offended. Appalled. I am so upset that Kim is portraying Jackie," wrote one commenter. "Jackie was so inspiring and motivation and still is to women and children all around the world. She's inspiring to me. It's so sad to see Kim act as her because Kim has none of the genuine kindness and passion and motivation that Jackie had."

"Don't love it," wrote another. "You are nothing like her. She would be offended."

"Give one thing back to American society other than your damn $100 contour kit and then we can discuss you taking pictures like this," an anonymous commenter wrote.

Another odd complaint came in the comments for the above black-and-white photo. Due to the contrast in the photo, the TV personality's complexion looks darker. Some chose to perpetuate the argument that Kardashian appropriated black culture.

Her fans did come to her defense in this instance, saying the complexion was obviously not intentional, as the photo was meant to emulate Kennedy.

"Kim looks beautiful and I think this is a beautiful photo shoot with little North," wrote an anoymous fan. "Everyone just wants to find a way to racially bash her and it's so unacceptable. You people act like she's trying to insult black people, but like she said, 'She admires Jackie' and this was an inspired look, so why is everyone so heated?"
