Kevin Hart Sued After Security Allegedly Brutalizes Fan
08/31/2017 03:51 pm EDT
Kevin Hart is being sued by a fan who claims the comedian's security beat and threatened to taze him, TMZ reports.
The fan identified as Jay Collins filed the lawsuit and states he was an invited VIP guest at Hart's Philadelphia performance on August 29, 2015. He says he was "aggressively approached and detained by stadium security." Collins does not say why he caught security's attention.
The suit claims the stadium security handed Collins over to Hart's personal security, and that's when the altercation occurred. Collins says Hart's security threatened to taze him, threw him to the ground and struck him in the head, neck and shoulders. In addition, Collins states the security called him a "b---h, p---y, and coward."
Collins wants more than $50k and says he is suing the comedian because he needs to take responsibility for his employees.
Hart's representatives have not commented on the incident.
