What Is Blac Chyna's Custody Arrangement With Rob Kardashian?

Even though Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are in the midst of a heated squabble over him leaking nude photos of her, the two have agreed to co-parent their daughter Dream with a 50/50 split custody arrangement.

Currently, the E! stars are operating under an unofficial arrangement where they are entitled to physical custody half the time, according to TMZ. The custody situation has been "loose by consent" and in recent weeks, the 30-year-old son of Kris Jenner has been keeping Dream four days out of the week while his former exotic dancer ex has been picking up the remaining three.

Despite their disagreements as a couple, Rob and Chyna have been able to co-parent Dream without incident up to this point. The Rob & Chyna stars aren't looking to ask a judge to make a formal child custody order for them, however, they could possibly have their current arrangement put in writing.

Kardashian and Chyna have been using a two-nanny system to assist in taking care of Dream.

"They have two nannies, one works five days a week and one works two days a week. The five-day-a-week nanny does the pick-up and drop-offs," a source told PEOPLE.

One issue did arise when Kardashian failed to bring Dream over to Chyna's house when it was her time of the week.

"The baby is supposed to be with Chyna per their agreement — which isn't written, just what they've been doing for the last six or seven months — and she is not. Chyna is doing everything in her power to get her back."

Last Wednesday, Kardashian vowed in a now-deleted Instagram post to never let Dream be with Chyna.

"[Chyna] will never see Dream again unless u stop the alcohol and drugs and cocaine and X and E," he wrote. However, two days later, Chyna took to Snapchat to share a series of photos with their daughter.

Despite Kardashian's opinions of Blac Chyna, her friends say that she is a "great mom."

"She's a great mom," Chyna's longtime pal and hairstylist Kellon Deryck said. "The time she spends with her children, she makes it count."

In the event that Kardashian and Chyna disagree about the future for their daughter, and want a judge to weigh in on a new custody arrangement; family law attorney Alyssa Eisner says that there is a lot of gray area to be considered.

"Nobody has a superior right to this child because there's nothing in official writing, so no one has been provided custody," Eisner said. "Their de facto arrangement is not law, so the courts would consider that but also look to see what has been the change in circumstance that now brings one of them to court. For example, these pornographic images or allegations of abuse or orders of protections."
