Why This Male Model Just Made History

Zach Miko just made fashion history!

The handsome 6'6" New Yorker with a 40-inch waist just became the first man to sign with Brawn, the new male plus-size division of IMG Models.

Miko, 26, was recruited by IMG after seeing his Instagram account, which features sexy selfies of the model along with adorable picture of his wife and dog. (Yep, sorry ladies, he's taken!)

Miko already made a name for himself in the modeling world when he became the face of Target's big and tall section in 2015.

"When you are a man my size, it's never even considered a possibility," he told WWD after the agency announced the news on Tuesday, March 15. "So it's kind of really cool that it has become a possibility and times have changed."

And Miko is quick to praise those who have forged the path before him, including fellow IMG model Ashley Graham, who made history appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue earlier this year.

"Ashley is a superstar," Miko said. "She changed the conversation of what beauty is. If I can do only a fraction of what she does, I will be so honored."
