Blake Shelton is allegedly name-dropping his girlfriend Gwen Stefani as a way to "lure" contestants onto his team on the upcoming season of The Voice, Us Weekly reports.

A source revealed that the country star has been telling prospective contestants about his leading lady in order to convince them to pick him as their coach, citing Stefani's musical talents in the process.

"To get people on his team, Blake will say, 'I don't want to brag, but my girlfriend is the queen of ska,' " the source said.

The source revealed that judging wasn't the only time Shelton gushed about Stefani, adding that he talks about her often.

"He talks about Gwen a lot," the source revealed. "He's always gushing about her and is so happy!"

The insider also added that Shelton used to say something similar about ex-wife Miranda Lambert, who previously served as a mentor on the show. Stefani served as a mentor in Season 10.

"Blake used to say, 'My wife, Miranda Lambert, is the best female country star,' " the source recalls, making it clear that Shelton isn't afraid to talk about whatever makes him happy.

Season 11 of The Voice premieres September 19 on NBC.
