Angelina Jolie's 'Family Is Broken and She Is In Agony': How She's Coping with Divorce

While Brad is devastated and allegedly blindsided, it looks like Angelina Jolie is trying to cope by cutting all lines of communication with him, Us Weekly reports.

A sourced told Us, "Angelina has blocked all incoming text messages and also Brad's numbers."

That said, it's not necessarily easy for Jolie to do. She herself is suffering from all of this drama and is reportedly "in agony", a family member tells PEOPLE .

"Her family is broken and she is in agony," the relative says. "Her children are recovering from the events that brought about the filing of the divorce."

Reports are accussing Pitt of being verbally abusive and getting physical with his son Maddox during a flightm that "escalated more than it should have," PEOPLE says.

Although there was no actualy physical injury, the source says, Pitt allegedly made contact with him ih the shoulder area.

So what exactly triggered this incident? Us reports "[Pitt] got drunk and was fighting with Angie....Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad's face."

A second source says that, "Teenagers have fights with their parents, especially when you have teens who are strong-willed and confident...You're going to have back and forth."

A anonymous person reported the incident to L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. It was referred to FBI under special aircraft jurisdiction, but unlikely the FBI will launch further investigation, a source tells PEOPLE.
