Some of your favorite grown-up animations may be leaving Netflix, but the streaming giant is looking to fill that void right away.

On Tuesday, Netflix officially ordered 20 episodes of a new animated original series titled Disenchantment. The series will be an adult-oriented animation from Matt Groening, the creator of Futurama and The Simpsons.

Everything Coming to Netflix in August

As you can tell, Groening has quite the impressive track record.

Disenchantment will be a fantasy-based series, taking place in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland. Viewers will follow the misadventures of heavy-drinking princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci.

The off-beat trio will encounter all number of problems, including ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and plenty of foolish human beings.

Reality Shows We Wish Were on Netflix

Groening released this statement about the new series:

"Ultimately, Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you."

Disenchantment will feature the vocal talents of Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon, Eric Andre, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.

The first 10 episodes of Disenchantment are scheduled to debut on Netflix in 2018.
