Not only were there multiple major reunions on the latest episode of Game of Thrones, but there were also a number of key players that were introduced face-to-face for the first time. One such meeting was when the King in the North, Jon Snow, met Jorah Mormont.

The scene featured Iain Glenn's Jorah Mormont being escorted to Daenerys Targaryen's presence by Dothraki warriors. When Jorah arrives, Dany and Jon are having a conversation. During an "Inside the Episode" segment, actors Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Glenn spoke out about what this interaction was like for their characters.

"I think it's a weird one for Jon meeting Jorah, this man he's heard about as being a slave-trader, bad guy. And yet here's Daenerys trusting him. Here's him seeming to be quite noble," Harrington said.

For Jorah, this was the culmination of a long-awaited moment that he once thought may never come given his medical condition. In Season 5, Jorah contracted "greyscale" while passing through the ruins in Old Valyria on his way to Meereen, and he was ordered by Dany to find a cure.

"I think it was one of the most important scenes certainly for Jorah this season," Glenn said during an "Inside the Episode" segment.

Because Jon had been told awful things about Jorah's past, the King in the North likely would have had a bad impression of him if the circumstances weren't different.

"I think at this point Jon is willing to forgive anyone anything, as long as they will come on side with him things can be ironed out afterward," Harrington said.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, also weighed in Jorah's return. She said that this was one of the most emotional scenes for her character this season.

"It's one of the most tender moments that you will see from Daenerys this season. Because the thing about Ser Jorah is that he has been the one from the very beginning. And so I think he has an ability to see right through her," she said.
