Funko Unveils Game of Thrones and Westworld SDCC Exclusives

Funko has been dominating the world of San Diego Comic-Con exclusives so far, with nine previous waves of collectibles spanning all across the pop culture landscape.

And yet, two popular television shows were missing from the vinyl collectible company's TV line - Game of Thrones and Westworld. But now, Funko has appeared to remedy that, with four recently-unveiled collectibles inspired by the two HBO series.

For those eagerly anticipating Game of Thrones' seventh season premiere, Funko is offering a special Pop! figure of The Mountain, shown in his impressive golden armor. While a Pop! figure of the character was already released in 2015, this new SDCC exclusive will allow fans to own their own version of the character.

The wave's second Game of Thrones exclusive is a Dorbz 2-pack of a fan-favorite pairing, Brienne of Tarth and Tormund.

After Funko debuted a full Westworld line earlier this year, fans can now score two SDCC exclusives inspired by the show as well. The most noteworthy one is Musashi, a character who has not been referenced by name in Westworld's first season, but does bear a resemblance to the mysterious hosts briefly shown in the season finale.

Fans can also collect a 'robotic' variant of Young Ford, which shows the young host's most memorable moment in Westworld's first season. This Pop!, and its eerie details, have been anticipated for quite some time, with this writer actually hypothesizing that the head-splitting variant would be on the way back in February.

Seeing as none of these HBO-inspired exclusives have a limited edition number, it's safe to assume that all of these figures will be 'shared'. This means that fans can purchase them at select stores during the weekend of SDCC.
