'American Horror Story' Actor Colton Haynes Teases His 'Cult' Role

Actor Colton Haynes will be a fresh face to the American Horror Story universe when he joins the cast for season 7, subtitled Cult.
However, the former Arrow and Teen Wolf star says the role is a long time coming. He's been following and tweeting about the series for years, he told ET.
He also dished a bit out about the role his character, Detective Samuels, will play in the storyline.
"Now I'm one of the main characters in the show, and I'm like, freaking out still," Colton said. "To look at Sarah Paulson or Evan Peters or anyone and actually act with them is the most incredible feeling in the world. And they're so nice, so talented."
Based on that, it appears Samuels will be major player in the still mysterious Cult storyline, and will share scenes with Ally Mayfair-Richards (Paulson) and Kai (Peters).
Haynes then went on to praise showrunner Ryan Murphy and make a bold claim about the quality of Cult.
"The crew's nice, Ryan Murphy's the best," he said. "I think this is going to be the best season yet."
American Horror Story: Cult premieres Sept. 5 on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
