In a recent interview shared by The Tracking Board, Starz boss Chris Albrecht said, "It's a difficult show to do, a lot of people to wrangle, so I can't tell you exactly when the next season is going to be on the air. We'll have to make sure we get it as soon as possible."

The show is based on a novel by author Neil Gaiman, and stars Ricky Whittle, Emily Browning, Crispin Glover, Bruce Langley, Yetide Badaki, Pablo Schreiber and Ian McShane.

Albrecht continued his statement by saying, "Like most of the things we do, we're guided by the people who are in charge of the creative vision. The vision of Neil Gaiman is the guiding light for all of us and [showrunners] Bryan Fuller and Michael Green have been terrific interpreters or translators of that vision."

He added, "We are certainly on board for as long as the show makes sense for Starz. We see no end in sight."
