An English woman named Donna Price had the picture-perfect family life as a youngster. However, she and her siblings had no idea that her parents were hiding a massive secret from them: Donna's mom and dad are siblings.

Back in 2014, Donna learned of her parents' incestuous relationship. The shocking news put the family in disarray and culminated in the Prices going to court after Donna turned her parents into the authorities.

In May, the parents pleaded guilty to incest. They were able to narrowly avoid jail time, but they likely won't be spending their time with Donna as she still has not recovered from the devastating revelation.

"I feel my childhood was all based on a lie. I hate them," Donna said of her parents during an interview with The Sun. "There's not enough words to describe how much I hate them."

To make matters even more bizarre, Donna learned that the man she believed to be her father actually was not even her biological father. A DNA test concluded that her mother had an affair with an unidentified man.

While Donna may not be the product of incest, her three younger siblings are.

Donna, who is now 32, first learned the news of her devastating news about her incestuous parents via an estranged aunt. After rumors started to swirl, Donna reached out and learned the truth about her parents.

"I had thought it was somebody just trying to stir up stuff because surely that sort of thing could never have happened," Donna said. "But [my aunt's] reply was yes, they are brother and sister."

"My son had just been discharged from the hospital...and I come out of the hospital and my phone went ping and it was that message," Donna said.

After learning the shocking truth, Donna didn't confront her parents or her siblings right away.

"I felt sick and my stomach just dropped," Donna said. "I spoke to my partner about it and decided I would wait until after Christmas, have a normal day as much as I could while I gathered up information."

Around the end of 2014, Donna reported her parents to the police. The report sparked a two-year investigation.

"It was horrendous and one of the hardest things I've ever had to do," Donna said. "But I still would have done the same thing again."

"I have so many memories as a family but I don't have any of that anymore," she said. "This has clouded everything, I can't see past it. Until you're in that situation you're in, it's hard to get your head around it. How two people managed to manipulate and con people – how can you do that to anyone?"
