Brazilian Policewoman Flooded With Marriage Proposals After Posting Swimsuit Photos to Instagram

When Brazilian policewoman Mari Ag isn't fighting crime, she is busy posting bikini photos online. Her steamy pics quickly went viral on the Internet and it has landed her a seemingly endless number of marriage proposals from her adoring fans.

Ag works as a highway patrol officer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With nearly 60,000 murders a year, it is one of the most dangerous countries in the world.

The 30-year-old beauty found massive popularity online after posting a series of photos of herself dressed in her police uniform in addition to her scantily-clad swimsuit snaps. Some fans are so enamored with her that they frequently ask for her hand in marriage online.

As a child, Ag decided that she wanted to pursue a career as a police officer. She wanted to help protect her community from the criminals and gangs in the area that she says are "so powerful and terrible in Brazil," according to Daily Mail.

Of the 150,000 people that went for a job with the Dutra Highway, Ag was in the top 10.

"The place I work has the worst criminality in the city, so we fight against heavily armed gangs that rob, kill, rape and terrify the community and the users of the federal highway," she said.

In only a matter of time, Ag has managed to forge an enormous Instagram fan base of more than 69.8k followers.
