The Terminator franchise has been heading towards a sixth installment for a while now, and there's been some discussion regarding franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger's involvement.

Schwarzenegger has previously said that he would appear in the film, but no one knew exactly when that would happen or when we could expect to hear something more. Fortunately, he set the record straight this week.

As promised, Schwarzenegger will be back, and sooner than you thought.

During an interview with The Playlist, Schwarzenegger was asked about his upcoming film schedule. The actor quickly revealed that a number of projects were on his slate, including Terminator.

"In the fall I start the shooting on the comedy Triplets with Eddie Murphy and Danny DeVito, Schwarzenegger said, referring to the upcoming sequel to Twins. "In March next year, I am shooting Terminator 6, James Cameron and David Ellison are back on board and then comes a Conan."

So, there you have it. Schwarzenegger is set to begin filming another Terminator movie this fall. James Cameron will be producing the film, while Deadpool filmmaker Tim Miller is set to direct.
