Sylvester Stallone Just Dropped Big Details About 'Creed 2'

The Rocky Balboa saga continued in 2015's Creed, which followed the boxer as he trained up-and-coming star Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), and the film's sequel, Creed 2, is set to bring in another major player from Rocky's past with the addition of Soviet boxer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).
Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone, has been teasing on social media that the sequel will be inspired by Rocky IV, and his confirmation of Drago's return only fuels that.
The actor told TMZ that things will get violent between Rocky and his old rival.
"You know I gotta hit Drago once," he said.
In Rocky IV, Drago killed Apollo Creed, Adonis' father, in a match, prompting Rocky to challenge him to their own bout on Christmas Day in Moscow.
The idea that Adonis will take on Drago's son is certainly a possible one, although nothing has been revealed confirming the theory.
While the status of Creed 2 is currently unknown, this new bit of information is likely to get fans even more excited for the jaw-busting film.
