Luke Bryan hasn't released a new record in nearly two summers, but a sneak peek from the country megastar and Universal Music Group Nashville teases the Georgia native has something brewing for fans.

A teaser ad shared on Twitter shows Bryan sporting a pale jean shirt and his signature smolder amid a black background with the words, "August 23rd" emblazoned across. There is no other information provided, but the social ad made its way around the network with fans growing excited of the news.

Bryan has remained mum about the subject, not sharing any news about the release on his own social networks. But in an interview with The Boot earlier this summer, he shared that he's "probably about halfway through" with the new record.

"I really have not ever taken a breath since I rolled into this town," he said. "So I'm kind of taking a little breath and enjoying that. And then you start having anxiety about not having music out."

Bryan goes on to dish that he's been in the studio a lot lately and is "really, really proud of the stuff" he's putting together so far.

In addition to a number one, platinum record with Kill the Lights, the 41-year-old has enjoyed chart-topping success with six singles off that album, including "Kick the Dust Up" and "Home Alone Tonight" with Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild.

Earlier this summer, Bryan broke records when his recent single, "Fast" hit number one, making him the only artist in 27 years of Billboard's Country Airplay to have all six singles from one album reach that high. But he is still itching for more, especially when it comes to the fans loving his music.

"You don't sit down and it just starts happening," he said. "You start getting this energy, and then the next thing you know, people around the record label are like, 'You realize you might break a record.' I'm like, 'Don't tell me stuff like that. Let's just put out songs.' But it's been fun. It's been amazing."
