Celebrities often encounter awkward interviews, but this one that Billy Ray Cyrus sat through with daytime talk-show host Wendy Williams might take the cake.

Last week, Billy Ray stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to promote the return of Still The King, his scripted comedy series on CMT. The interview got off to a strange start and only got more and more uncomfortable from there, as Williams hurled a slew of questions and comments at the singer/actor.

Billy Ray walked out to welcoming reception from the studio audience at first. Almost immediately, though, it became evident that Willams was poorly prepared for their conversation, as first shared by Rare Country.

"Do you know where you are?" she oddly asked, as Billy Ray got seated on the couch.

"I like your hair. It's really long. Still the mullet," she said, before praising him compliments that were rather unusual. "I see where your daughter gets her eyes. Your eyes are hypnotizing. You're a very good looking man. And so is your wife."

Billy Ray mostly ignored the bizarre comment about his wife, Tish, but appeared to be humbly flattered by all of Williams' praise. However, when it came time to inquire about his famous family, Wendy was lacking some significant details.

"Your daughter. Her name starts with a 'T,'" Wendy awkwardly said. "I'm forgetting her name. The one who was on MTV." Billy Ray replied, "Noah?"

"Noah, exactly. I'm sorry, an 'N,'" Wendy said, correcting herself.

After forgetting the name of Billy Ray's youngest daughter, Wendy painfully continued in a direction that suggested she really didn't know much else about the rest of his family either.

She couldn't quite remember the details of the home design television show that Billy Ray's wife Tish and their daughter Brandi star on.

"The home one on HGTV," Williams' said guessing, but then Billy Ray corrected her, explaining that the show actually airs on Bravo.

"I'm sorry. But it's one of those shows where she's fixing houses," she added, to which Billy Ray replied with the title, "Cyrus vs Cyrus." Williams then replied, "I know. I know stuff. I've seen."
