Ricki Lake Reveals Post Regarding Ex-Husband's Death

Ricki Lake is paying tribute to her late ex-husband by spreading his ashes at one of their most treasured vacation spots.

The former talk show host has been sharing Instagram photos from her trip to Ibiza along with tributes to her ex, Christian Evans, over the last week. TMZ reports that Ibiza was where the the couple frequently vacationed and was where Evans proposed.

Lake and Evans were married from 2009 to 2015, with Evans passing this past February. Lake surely still has a ton of love for him, as you can see by her current trip, which she has described as a "sacred journey."

"Bringing my beloved home," she captioned her latest tribute photo. She also added the hashtag "love is eternal."

In June, Lake shared another beautiful tribute to Evans on Instagram. Along with a photo of him, Lake shared thoughts on what he meant to her and how she chooses to carry on his journey each and every day.

"Today 6/11/17 marks 4 months since losing my #beloved twin flame," she wrote. "As time passes, the days do get easier, the tears come less frequent. Life goes on, but the hole in my heart never goes away. He was a light. My light. My greatest teacher."

"Christian, I honor you every day by choosing to live my life to the fullest. Saying yes! Jumping feet first. My life, you always said was 'never boring.' So true, just not nearly as bright without you in it," she continued.
