Hilary Duff Robbed of Jewelry While on Vacation

Hilary Duff's house was broken into with a large amount of jewelry being taken.

According to TMZ, Duff's Beverly Hill's home was the target of a robbery while the star was on vacation.

The report claims the thief broke in through a door and rummaged through belongings until valuables were found. The house's security alarm did not go off during the robbery.

The Younger actress is currently vacationing in Canada with her family, so a full investigation has not come to fruition. However, the initial report is placing the value of the stolen goods as "worth hundreds of thousands of dollars."

The outlet is hypothesizing that Duff's social media posts may have been one reason the break-in occurred.

The former Lizzie McGuire star has been posting that she and her 5-year-old son Luca have been in Canada throughout the week.

The burglar could have hypothetically seen the home an easy target because Duff was out of the country.
