Former 'Hannah Montana' Star Brandon Mychal Smith Arrested for DUI

Former Disney Channel star Brandon Mychal Smith was charged with a DUI last weekend after nearly running a red light.

Smith, who appeared on Hannah Montana and Sonny With a Chance, failed to stop in time at a red light in Burbank, California, at 7:10 a.m. TMZ reports. He overshot the crosswalk and had to reverse back behind the line.

Cops saw this happen and realized something was wrong. They pulled Smith over and administered a breathalyzer test. The test said that Smith's alcohol level was "at least twice the legal limit."

Smith nor his representatives have commented on the arrest at this time.

Smith appeared on numerous Disney Channel shows. He was Ricky Jones on Hannah Montana, Nico Harris on Sonny With a Chance and Danny Dawkins on Phil of the Future. He also made guest appearance on That's So Raven, Cory in the House and Kim Possible.

He currently appears on the FX comedy You're the Worst. He also appeared in several films, including Get On Up (playing Little Richard), Gridiron Gang and Dirty Grandpa.
