David Spade first shared the photo with the "Cash Me Outside girl" on Instagram. Because he received such a massive response to the snap, he decided to throw it up on Twitter as well.
He explained himself in a follow-up tweet writing: "I put that picture on here cuz it was on IG and was shocked that some ppl got so mad for diff reasons. Crazy how much it got ppl worked up."
When David Spade posted the photo on Instagram, he threw some serious shade at Bregoli for appearing "underwhelmed" when she met him.
Spade shared the picture on Instagram with the caption: "How bow dis. (@bhadbhabie is slightly underwhelmed to meet me). Unfortunately she stopped being famous 5 minutes before this was taken."
Some Twitter users took shots at Danielle Bregoli, who rose to fame after her appearance on Dr. Phil sparked one of the most popular Internet memes of the last year. However, others chose to blast the actor himself for the photo.
Many pointed out how uninterested Danielle Bregoli looked in the snap, and joked that she likely had no idea who the actor was.
"I know with all my heart that he had to explain that he was the guy from Joe Dirt to her," one person wrote.
As for Danielle Bregoli, when she isn't taking photos with celebrities like David Spade, she has reportedly been quite busy. The teen has been a current fixture in the news in recent weeks as she has had multiple run-ins with the law including a video that surfaced showing her allegedly being attacked.
Because her behavior has caused such a fiery response in the media, Bregoli is going to be featured in a new reality show. The viral sensation and her mother, Barbara, are reportedly working on a reality series that follows their drama-filled lives.
One moment that might possibly have been captured on film is when Danielle Bregoli and her legal team found out that Walmart was selling clothing with her now infamous catchphrase, "Cash Me Outside." The teen's attorneys are threatening to file a lawsuit against the retail giant if the company doesn't remove the items. Learn more here.
