Rapper 40 Glocc Reportedly Arrested in Prostitution Sting

Rapper 40 Glocc has reportedly been arrested as part of a Minnesota prostitution ring.

The charge stems from a February incident when the rapper was caught driving a prostitute to a meet-up where an undercover cop was waiting, according to TMZ. Glocc was allegedly monitoring the situation through a Bluetooth device worn by the prostitute and sped away from the scene when they were caught.

Police found him later with cut all over his hands, reportedly from smashing cell phones to avoid being tracked. He was then charged with two counts of intentionally promoting the prostitution of an individual and one count of inducing an individual to practice prostitution.

He is currently out on bail, with his hearing set for October.

Glocc has never been a huge radio success, but he has worked with a ton of big names.

He's worked with Dr. Dre on multiple tracks and has collaborated with 50 Cent and G-Unit on numerous occasions. He also has songs with Cee Lo Green, Yo Gotti, Ray J and Twista.

He also has a rough criminal history, with previous arrests for suspected attempted murder, domestic battery and weapons violations. Not all of these resulted in charges, but Glocc, a known Crip member, has never shied away from dicey situations.

Just last month, he was shot while attending a funeral. He was also involved with a 2012 altercation with rapper The Game, which resulted in Glocc filing a lawsuit against the latter star.

Glocc hasn't spoken out since the news broke, but back in April, he shared an explicit all caps Facebook post about avoiding arrests from crooked cops by "being smarter."

"WE GOTTA START BEING SMARTER," he wrote. "THE FAKE N----Z PRETEND TO BE US.. AND WINNING.. WE PROTECTING OUR SELF.. GET CAUGHT WITH GUNS GO TO JAIL ETC.. WHILE THEM HOE ASS NIGGAZ BRAG ABOUT BUYING BODYGUARDS FOR PROTECTECTION (sic) & PAYING OFF DUTY COPS."
