Kristen Bell Defends 'Bad Moms' Against Accusations of Ageist Sexism

Kristen Bell is no stranger to the negative aspects of Hollywood, so when a Twitter user called Bad Moms out for "ageist sexism" the actress had a thoughtful and reasonable response ready.
"In @BadMoms @IMKristenBell and Mila Kunis are moms of preteens but are actual moms of toddlers," the tweet read. "Another example of Hollywood ageist sexism?"
The mother of three replied to the accusation with a cool head. Her kids, Lincoln and Delta, are three and one years old, respectively.
"Mine has 5, 3, & 1yr. Close to my kids ages," Bell responded. "Milas had her kids at 20-its plot line relevant-She's 33, so believable."
Her co-star has an almost two year old and is expecting another baby with husband Ashton Kutcher.
Bell was careful to acknowledge that ageism and sexism do exist in Hollywood, as any actress would be aware, but she said the cast and directors of the movie had considered that point before making the movie.
"I'm not saying it doesn't exist, it sure does. I just know we gave it a lot of thought and it doesn't apply here," she explained on Twitter.
