Kim Zolciak-Biermann Shares Photo of Son Kash's Injury After Terrible Dog Bite

In the post Tuesday, Zolciak-Biermann said, "Kash and our entire family want to Thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers! Kash has healed up incredibly and has perfect vision in his left eye. Stitches on his water line, and his eyeball was never touched! God is Good!"

Though the 4-year-old's eye is still swollen and bruised, he does look to be recovering well, and Zolciak-Biermann is so thankful.

"We are so incredibly thankful and blessed! In no time he will heal up perfectly and you will never know this happened! So thankful to Dr Joseph Williams (chief of plastic surgery) and Dr Berland (Tomas Eye Group) their quick decisions and impeccable work doesn't go unnoticed. THANK YOU," she continued.

On April 23, Zolciak-Biermann broke the news of the traumatic incident to fans in a post that said, "I don't know where to start. The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare," she captioned the post. "My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I've never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life."

Over the next days, Kash was treated and began recovering, and the Bravo star made sure to thank her support system, especially her husband, for being there during the trying time.

Shortly after the bite, Zolciak-Biermann praised her husband in an emotional post alongside a photo of Kroy Biermann walking down the hall in the hospital beside Kash in his bed.

"I don't know what I would do without you @kroybiermann ❤️ Kash just got out of surgery in this pic and he was heading to his room. He woke up looking for his daddy. We left our house in such a hurry Kroy had no shoes on and I literally was half naked w/ deep conditioner in my hair...Those were the least of our worries," Zolciak-Biermann wrote.

Though there were some worries about how the injuries would affect Kash's eyesight due to the severe nature of the bite, Zolciak-Biermann assured fans on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that Kash's eyesight is doing just fine.

"He's doing great. He actually has perfect vision in both eyes, which is all we care about. The rest we can fix!"

Though she was unable to discuss the details of the incident and the dog and owner remain unidentified at this point, Zolciak-Biermann noted that her son is a big animal lover, so the injury was especially troubling for the 4-year-old.

"I mean, he was just unfortunately bit by a dog," she said. "He's an animal lover — I could see him being a vet at some point, that's how much he loves dogs, cats."
