Watch: Rihanna and Drake Are Officially Dating

If you've been thinking, "It kind of seems like Drake and Rihanna are dating." You're right! A source close to the couple has finally confirmed that the music icons are indeed officially dating.

"They are fully dating," the source said according to ET. "No one really knows how long they've been 'official' – they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They're happy."

Drake and Rihanna have been close friends for years, so their dating shouldn't surprise anyone. Most recently, the two have been spending a lot of time together. From jet setting across the country, to getting dinner in NYC at Nobu, the two just can't be apart from each other.

The question of their relationship really came up during the MTV Music Video Awards when Drake presented Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Before he handed her the trophy, he declared his love for her.

"The first time I met Robyn Fenty was in 2005," he said recalling those first days of knowing Rihanna. "I was introduced to her as the kid who played background music at the restaurant as people ate their dinner."

"She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old," he continued, proving that playing the long game can sometimes work. "She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me. She's a living, breathing llegend in our industry."

After that touching speech, the two embraced, and Drake got in a bit of necking before Rihanna took the mic. Apparently, the two were seen doing quite a bit of that at the VMA after party. Guests also said that the two were inseparable. Now we know why.
