Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's Kids Join Coldplay Onstage at Glastonbury

Looks like all that talent runs in the family!

Coldplay headlined the Glastonbury Festival in England Sunday, and frontman Chris Martin gave the crowd a special surprise when he brought out his two children with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10, to provide backing vocals for a song.

The song was a cover of Viola Beach's "Boys That Sing," which Coldplay performed as a tribute to the band, all four members of which tragically died in a car accident in February, along with their manager. Footage of Viola Beach performing also played behind Coldplay, as they performed their touching rendition.

"We're going to create Viola Beach's alternative future for them and let them play Glastonbury for a song," the Daily Mail reports Martin as saying to the crowd. "This would have been [Viola Beach] in 20 years."

Apple and Moses were joined by two of their cousins onstage, and Paltrow was all smiles in the audience as she took a video of her children rocking out with their dad — which she later shared on Instagram.

Although Paltrow and Martin "consciously uncoupled" in 2015 and finalized their divorce last month, their main priority is still their children.

"As anybody who has been divorced knows, you have to put a lot aside to maintain the family and the practicalities of what that might mean and sometimes that's quite tough on a personal level," Paltrow told Stephen Sackur, host of the BBC News program HardTalk, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France. "It's a commitment I make every day to my children and their father even though we're not in a romantic relationship," PEOPLE reports.

"You can remain a family even though you are not a couple and make it a less traumatic experience for the children," she added.
