'Game of Thrones' Star Carice van Houten Welcomes First Child

It's a boy! And even more important, it's not a "shadow baby!"

Game of Thrones' Carice van Houten and her boyfriend Guy Pearce have welcomed their first baby, Monte Pearce.

The couple announced the happy news on Twitter.

"A cute little package arrived and told us his name's Monte Pearce. We think we're gonna keep him," Pearce joked. "Placenta smoothie anyone?"

The parents-to-be had announced their pregnancy news on social media as well, making lots of shadow baby jokes along the way in reference to a demon creature on the show.
