Davis hosted the TLC reality series from 2001 to 2004. She was let go from the show in 2005, as the network tested a host-free format.

She briefly returned in 2008 before the series ended. Davis went on to host OWN's Home Made Simple and co-hosted Hallmark Channel's Home & Family.

In March, TLC president and general manager Nancy Daniels announced the revival of Trading Spaces, which she called the "most successful and most iconic series."

The show has already begun their search for homeowners in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Baltimore.
